Records operations are located at the Westerville Justice Center, 229 Huber Village Blvd.
HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Return of Property/Evidence is handled by appointment only, Monday-Friday between 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Please call (614) 901-6450 to schedule an appointment with an Evidence Technician.
The Records section is the primary support unit of the Westerville Division of Police. Records technicians provide assistance not only to Division personnel, but to the public as well. Duties include disseminating reports, record checks, bike registrations, medication disposal, impound releases, expedite non-emergency calls, assisting visitors, and processing evidence.
The Records section also provides copies of police reports to the public. The first 20 pages are free; each additional page is 5 cents. Please contact (614) 901-6450 with any questions.
Fingerprinting:
The Westerville Division of Police offers fingerprinting services to people who live or work within the Westerville Police jurisdiction, or those who attend Otterbein University. A photo I.D. is required to process any requests.
Bicycle Registration
- Residents should register their bicycles with the Westerville Division of Police. Bicycle registration is FREE and can be completed in-person or by clicking here.
