Holly Murchland began her career in 1993 at Kettering PD. During her time at Kettering, she was a supervisor of patrol, communications, the detective bureau and the property room.  She retired from Kettering as a lieutenant and was hired as an Assistant Chief for the Westerville Division of Police in October of 2018.  She has completed extensive professional development training including the well-regarded Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command as well as the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development program. She is a member the National Organization of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE) and FBI LEEDA. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Anderson University.  Assistant Chief Murchland currently oversees the Patrol Bureau.
